Hello.

My surface pro, win 8.1, has been acting a little weird recently.

I decided to run SFC and it finds corrupted files. Then I've run multiple DISMs, restarts and the following SFC scans end up finding corrupted stuff again.

I've run SFCFix but all it doesn't create a log file on my desktop and it did not fix the corruption, even though it says it has fixed some things. As with the DISM command, the following SFC will continue to spot corruption.

I've attached sfcdetails and zipped CBS folder.

Thanks.

Hi and welcome to Sysnative. The corruptions that reference telemetry which you have are a known issue and can be safely ignored. Microsoft is working on a solution. They don't affect the function of your machine.

This update contains the following two manifests that are occasionally updated by the Diagnostic Tracking Service:

telemetry.ASM-WindowsDefault.json
utc.app.json

The two files are marked as static files in the update. When an advanced user runs the System File Checker Tool (sfc.exe), the files are unintentionally flagged as corrupted. There is no impact or corruption on a device that is running this update, and this issue will be fixed in a later service update.
