[SOLVED] sfc file corruption -Start menu metro apps don't work

Hello everyone,

I'm new here so I don't really know if this is the right place to talk about this issue. Sorry if it isn't.

I have a problem with my windows 10 pc. My start menu and every Metro app don't work anymore.

I've tried doing the medial tool method but I get the error 0x8007025D-0x2000c

I've already used sfcfix here is the log for it.

If someone can help me I would really appreciate it.

  • Let the scan run until the end (100%). Depending on your system, it can take some time;
  • Copy the C:\Windows\Logs\DISM folder and C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log file on your Desktop, then right-click on it, go to Send to... and select Compressed .zip archive;
  • Upload the file on Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive and post the download URL for it here;
Note: Please note that the CBS.log is volatile, which means that if you don't upload it after the DISM scan is completed, it won't contains the information from the scan anymore. So archive it and upload it as soon as you can.
 
Alright :) Now that the Aniversary Update (AU) have been released, you should install it. This will basically do a "Repair Install" of your Windows 10 at the same time, and repair your Start Menu and Windows Store apps. The AU is available from Windows Updates.
