SFC errors and DISM Error: 0x800f081f

I tried to use both my windows 10 dvd and the TechNet ISO as the source also
but DISM keeps giving Error: 0x800f081f

SFC scan says it finds errors it can not fix

before running SFCfix, I cleared the log and ran a new sfc scan which reported unfixable errors

I am confused View attachment 17582because SFCfix reports this below, so I have attached CBS zip as well

I may have fixed this
I takeown and icacls the winsxs folder, then extracted files from install.wim and replace in winsxs
YAY

but DISM is still useless still gives same error

  • On Windows Vista & 7, click on the Windows Start Menu, then enter cmd in the search box, right-click on the cmd icon and select

    Note: There's a space between "sfc" and "/scannow";
  • Once the scan is complete, enter the command below and press on Enter

    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
  • A file called cbs.txt will have appeared on your Desktop. Upload the file on Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive and post the download URL for it here;
Note: Please note that the CBS.log is volatile, which means that if you don't upload it after the SFC scan is completed, it won't have the information from the scan anymore. So archive it and upload it as soon as you can.

Follow the instructions below to download and execute a SFCFix fix, and provide the log.
  • Download SFCFix and move the executable on your Desktop;
  • Download the attached SFCFix.zip and move the archive to your Desktop;
    Note: Make sure that the file is named SFCFix.zip, do not rename it.

I know that a lot of users had this error right after upgrading to Windows 10. It was an issue with the RTM release, but I don't know what caused it. However, it wasn't causing any issues on the system, so we didn't look at it as an important/urgent matter :)
