Hello,

the update process on my machine is broken for what reason ever.
When running the update the installation starts but ends with "0x800f0900".

Tried the following procedures several times, but no luck.

Tried "sfc /scannow" and get error message (can't repair all files).
Tried SFCfix, but it crashes every time I try to run it (unhandled exception) (2 dmp-files have been sent).
DISM /RestoreHealth ends up with "0x800f081f" even if I specify the corresponding WIM-file.

Also tried to make an inplace upgrade but no luck: "0x800f0900".
Starting the upgrade to Win10-2004 also ends with error "0x800f0900".

Any help would be really appreciated.

Hello,

at least I was able to solve the problem.
In the error logs ("install-folder on C:"/source/panther/setuperr.log) I found that an oemxx.inf was causing the problem.
This oemxx.inf was related to the "Intel Graphis Control Center" of an old driver version that hasn't been uninstalled properly caused the problem.

After uninstalling the whole bunch of Intel GPU drivers on my machine using the DeviceDriverUninstaller the upgrade problem persist (first_boot -> driver problem -> rollback).

In the error logs I found that this oemxx.inf was still causing the problem.
The related CAT-file was still in the FileRepository-folder.

After deleting the folder with the CAT-file, the oem-file and the PNF-file the installation of Win10-2004 were successfull.

So thanks to everybody who had a look at my problem.

Stephan
