Hello there! I hope this is the right place to ask for help.
I've been running into constant BSOD etc and have just barely managed to eek out some stability of my system. This has been going on for 5 days now and has been quite demoralizing.
With enough searching I've found mentions of SFCFix which led me here and I hope that'll help me fix the issue that's cropping up.
Previously DISM hasn't worked for me but now it does with a few specific steps, but SFC /SCANNOW doesnt.
I downloaded the windows ISO (This took about 18 hours. My internet is slow) and extracted the install.wim to get that working for a functional DISM because otherwise it didn't and the following operations get it working for me
DISM.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:wim:C:\install.wim:6 /LimitAccess
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
it was repairable so
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
Otherwise the usual RestoreHealth doesn't.
Now Sfc /scanhealth in admin cmd never succeeds in any context. Ive managed to get it somewhat working in shift restart mode and using it there but even there it mentions it cant fix some files.
For reference here are the logs that sfc /scannow pops
It's all a bit odd and the BSOD I get are often fairly random. My system is pretty stable if I do... nothing. Sometimes even running sfc /scannow can cause a BSOD. But most commonly just watching a video on youtube in chrome will.
For reference I am running Windows 11 Pro.
I have no idea what I am looking at here with the logs beyond something being messed up about wcp.dll, mscorelib.dll, msedge.dll, scorlib.ni.dll etc.
Thank you kindly, and all the best.
