Hi!

My server has a lot of error events that I can't seem to find any solution to. Until I tried SFC /scannow and it revealed that the server has some corrupted files.
Unforunately it could not fix them on the fly, so I had to try the command: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

This would not work either, as it wanted the source files, so i mounted the Windows Server 2016 ISO on x:\sources and added "/source:WIM:c:\install.wim:2 /limitaccess" to the DISM command. But even this failed with "Error: 0x800f081f The source files could not be found."

Then I tried to use DISM to mount the WIM to "c:\mount" and use that as a source instead. This time DISM failed with the following error:
"Error: 1734

The array bounds are invalid.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log"

I hope you all can help.

Thank You
Best Regards

  • Right-click on the CBS folder and choose Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.
  • Now the message will appear, "Windows cannot create the Compressed (zipped) Folder here. Do you want it to be placed on the desktop instead?"
  • Click on the Yes button here.
