Hello,

I'm having an issue w/ 2 of our domain controllers where I cannot repair file corruption with either sfc or DISM.

The DISM error I receive is 800f081f regarding the source not being able to be found. I've tried pointing the source to a mounted .iso pointing to the sources folder, extracting install.wim and pointing to that, pointing to another server's (sources) folder, etc. Nothing seems to work. I followed steps from other threads and also the ones from this one.

I could really use some help on this one and it would be greatly appreciated.

Please see attachment(s):

DISM Log rar

Thanks again!

Hi and welcome to Sysnative,

Step 1. Download

  • Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
  • Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it to your desktop.
  • Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.
Code:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

Thank you for taking the the time to help me out on this! Unfortunately, DISM results in the same error of 0x800f081f (The source files could not be found.)

See attached for requested logs. I attached the DISM log in addition.
