[Server2012R2] WU 0x80073712 Component Store Corrupted when installing RDS feature

Hi there,

I am trying to install the RDS Session Host Role/Feature to a Windows 2012 R2 box with all it's updates completed however I am getting the following error "The request to add or remove feature on the specified server failed. Installation of one or more roles, roles services, or feature failed. The component store has been corrupted. Error 0x80073712"

I have tried running the following commands:

dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

When the /restorehealth command is run I get he following error:

The source files could not be downloaded.​

The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log​

I cannot seem to get past either of the errors. Does anyone have any other useful tips or procedures that have worked?
