Hi Sysnative team,
I am at the end of my possiblilities.

I have a Server2012 R2 running. At the beginning i had a lot of crashes (buggy ram) so some unfinished Updates courses some problems on my system.

When I try to load any updates it starts with it but at the end it deletes all changes to go back to the old status.

I tried to repair with the UpdateFix tool. I started sfc /scannow and all the DISM repair tricks serveral times but nothing worked.

I repaired a lot of "CSI Payload Corruptions" by copying it manuell to the empty or buggy folders on my system but now I have 15 errors left and no idear how to repair.

I thougt about to activate the Hyper-V Tool and install a second server and make him the main server but i can not install the hyper-V tool. All installations are blocked:eek:.

The Dism.log and cbs.zip are attached !!

cbs is linked here: Dropbox - CBS.zip

Please help if you can.

Thanks :rose:

Hello and welcome!

Retrieve Components Hive
1. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Config and locate the COMPONENTS file.
2. Please copy this file to your desktop.
Note: If you receive an error that this file is in-use, simply reboot your computer and try again.
3. Right-click on this file on your desktop and select Send To...Compressed (zipped) folder. This will create a file named COMPONENTS.ZIP on your desktop.
4. The file will likely be too large to upload here so please upload to a file sharing service and just provide the link here.

Thanks!

Install Update with DISM

  1. Download the linked update and save to your desktop. The file name will be Windows8.1-KB3123245-x64.cab.zip.
  2. Right-click on this file and select Extract All... Click the Extract button. You can close the folder window that opens
  3. Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  4. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator. Go ahead and allow if you receive the UAC prompt.
  5. Copy and paste the following command into the command prompt window and press enter.

    dism /online /add-package /packagepath:%userprofile%\desktop\Windows8.1-KB3123245-x64.cab
  6. You should receive the message:
    The operation completed successfully.
Restart Windows to complete this operation. <---You may not get this line.
Do you want to restart the computer now (Y/N)? <---You may not get this line.

Go ahead and do so if prompted. Let me know what errors if any come up. If you do get errors, please zip/attach your CBS.log
