Good day to all, my server installation has gone batty and my programs that used .Net 3.5 stopped working so I tried to remove and reinstall the .Net Framework and discovered that I have a bit of corruption, for the pass week I've been trying SFC /Scannow and DISM scanhealth, checkhealth and restorehealth but nothing seems to be working. Ive also copied the WinSXS from a new installation of Server 2012 Standard x64 that was updated completely and used that as the source but still no luck. I hoping someone here can help me out. I will attach the cbs.log here

I ran the sfcfix.exe, but now dism gets stuck at 40% for hours and hours. sfc /scannow still stops at 58% saying it cant fix corrupted files. And my cbs logs keep growing to 3 - 4 Gb in size

OK, I need a current log so please do the following.
SFC Scan 1. Right-click on the Start button and select Command Prompt (Admin)
2. When command prompt opens, Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Right-click > Paste) the following command into it, then press Enter sfc /scannow
3. Once it finishes, copy and paste the following into the command-prompt window and press Enter. copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
4. Once this has completed please go to your Desktop and you will find CBS.txt => Right-click on this file and choose Send To...Compressed (zipped folder). Please upload this zipped file CBS.zip to this thread

Please start with the following.
FRST Fix NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system
1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop. Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Download attached file and save it to the Desktop. Note. It's important that both files, FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work (in this case...the desktop).
3. Run FRST64 by Right-Clicking on the file and choosing Run as administrator.
4. Press the Fix button just once and wait. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
5. When finished FRST64 will generate a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please post the contents of it in your reply.

Good, let's do the following again.
SFC Scan 1. Right-click on the Start button and select Command Prompt (Admin)
2. When command prompt opens, Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Right-click > Paste) the following command into it, then press Enter sfc /scannow
3. Once it finishes, copy and paste the following into the command-prompt window and press Enter. copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
4. Once this has completed please go to your Desktop and you will find CBS.txt => Right-click on this file and choose Send To...Compressed (zipped folder). Please upload this zipped file CBS.zip to this thread

Step#1 - DISM /RestoreHealth Scan Warning:this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.
Right-click on the Start button and select Command Prompt (Admin)
When command prompt opens, Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Right-click > Paste) the following command into it, then press Enter Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Once it finishes, copy and paste the following into the command-prompt window and press Enter. If prompted to overwrite the existing file go ahead. copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
Once this has completed please go to your Desktop and you will find CBS.txt => Please zip/upload to this thread. Please Note:: if the file is too big (over 7MB) to upload to your next post, please upload via a service such as Dropbox or One Drive or SendSpace and just provide the link.

Retrieve Components Hive 1. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Config and locate the COMPONENTS file.
2. Please copy this file to your desktop. Note: If you receive an error that this file is in-use, simply reboot your computer and try again.
3. Right-click on this file on your desktop and select Send To...Compressed (zipped) folder. This will create a file named COMPONENTS.ZIP on your desktop.
4. The file will likely be too large to upload here so please upload to SendSpace and just provide the link here.
