For the life of me I can't figure out how to get this to work! I'm running Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. I'm trying to install KB4074598. It installs correctly in Windows. Howerver, on the reboot as it's configuring the update, at aroun 90% or so it fails and forces the system to revert to a state prior to the update. I've tried running SFC, resetting windows components, running the update manually. Nothing works! So, here I am...turning to this form, hoping someone can help.

I seem to be having this issue on all of my 2008 servers.

Please find attached a sample of my windows update log.

It's ok, thanks for the reply! No, I was able to figure out the issue. In the end, the issue was that my system reserved partition was 100% full! I couldn't figure out why it was full and didn't want to delete the files I was able to find in there. As a workaround, I moved the boot files to the C drive and made that the active partition. That seemed to do the trick.
