Hi,
One of my client's servers is failing to update.

I have attempted SFC /scan now, and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, but these both return errors.

Are you able to diagnose the issues from the attached logs?

Step 1. Download

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.
Code:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

So far so good, after applying both fixes on a test copy of the server, DISM completes successfully, and the failing Windows updates now install.
We will schedule to apply this to the live server at the earliest opportunity.

Thanks for your amazing support.
