Heya,

I've tried all the tricks up my sleeve and more, but still can't get this update to install! Please can you help?

Things I have tried:
  • Restarts, a lot of them!
  • Clearing out the Software folder & restarting services
  • SFC /scannow
  • DISM repairs online & using local ISO (both failed with errors)
  • Manually installing .msu file
  • Manually unzipping .msu and using DISM to install the update
I spent some time trying to understand the dism logs, specifically errors such as
Code:
C:\WINDOWS\Servicing\amd64_microsoft-windows-servicingstack_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.17763.5441_none_56e586e1991ee995\wcp.dll' : got STATUS_OBJECT_PATH_NOT_FOUND
but was unable to figure out what this meant exactly.

The latest
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Froze at 97.6% which may be reflected in the logs.

It's been 5 days since I last posted, and no reply from you.

Do you still need my help ?

If I don't hear back from you in the next 24 hours, I will presume not, and will close this topic.

Thank you very much Gary, it appears to have installed the update now!

So sorry for the delay. Would you still like to see the logs?

No, if you're now able to update, there's no need for me to see the logs.

Thanks for letting me know. (y)

I'll mark this topic as solved.
