In continuation of this thread: server 2019 rollback everytime it's patched we are facing the problem of DotNet updates not installing

When running the installers for 2024-02 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.7.2 and 4.8 for Windows Server 2019 for x64 (KB5034683), (2 install msu packages ) they both return with "update was not installed" and no further errors

I've ran DISM and sfc as described, and also tried windows update troubleshooter, and though it finds and fixes error, the installations still fails

  • Let me know if it says it was successful or you get the message: The update KB5031010 is not installed on this computer.
