I am trying to cleanup the component store of my Windows Server 2016 server. It shows corrupt.
When searching in the CBS.log it shows corrupt files from update KB4489882, but I am unable to reinstall the update because newer updates are already installed.
I really want to cleanup the store because it consumes a lot of data.
Actions performed:
SFC /scannow
Result: Verify complete , Repair complete
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
Result: The operation completed successfully. The component store is repairable.
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Result: Error: 0x800f081f
The source files could not be found.
Tried to specify a source (the original install.wim:2 from the server 2016 ISO) --> No effect
Tried to specify a source online --> same error.
Can you help me resolving this issue?
