This is a new Server 2016 vm install. Below shows the results of some diagnostics. Has anyone seen this behavior before on a new install?
Thanks,
mux

SFC /scannow

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some
of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For
example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not
supported in offline servicing scenarios.

From CBS.log

Although I found this one line

CSI 00002402 [SR] Could not reproject corrupted file \??\C:\Windows\System32\iertutil.dll; source file in store is also corrupted

The last line in the CBS.log shows the following

2018-07-23 10:04:37, Info CSI 00006569 [SR] Verify and Repair Transaction completed. All files and registry keys listed in this transaction have been successfully repaired

Dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth -

Image Version: 10.0.14393.0

No component store corruption detected.
The operation completed successfully.

Window Update Troubleshooting Tool

Potential Windows Update Database error detected - Not Fixed

I found the following instructions online and they fixed the sfc error. The only remaining error is: " Potential Windows Update Database error detected - Not Fixed"

1- Create a folder on desktop: mount
2- Copy install.wim to desktop. (used the ISO downloaded from techbench)

Open Admin Command prompt, copy/paste each line and run:
Dism /mount-wim /wimFile:%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\install.wim /index:1 /MountDir:%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\mount
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\mount\windows /LimitAccess
Dism /unmount-wim /Mountdir:%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\mount /discard
re-run: sfc /scannow

Hello and welcome! If your Windows Update works and SFC/DISM are clean, there is no reason to worry. Windows Update Diagnostic Tool reports that even on a healthy system sometimes.
