[SOLVED] Server 2012 R2 Update Error 80073712

Hi

I ran through the steps to perform prior to posting. I ran the sfcfix tool which failed to fix the issue. I have included in the attached zip file, cbs.log, dism.log and sfcfix log.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Follow the instructions below please.

WARNING! The following fix is specific to the user's system in this thread only. No one else should follow these instructions, as it could damage your system.

Download the attachment SFCFix.zip and save it on your desktop.
Save any work you have open, and close all programs.
Drag the SFCFix.zip file over the SFCFix.exe executable and release it.
SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
Open the file, then copy and paste its content in your next reply.

Thanks for posting the result - it looks to have successfully added the missing/corrupted manifest file.

Now please try to run SFC /scannow and now hopefully it will fix the previous error.

sfc completed successfully. I am installing updates now. So far so good, but have 70 updates to install. Will respond if there is any more issues

I am running updates this morning. On 32 of 100. Working better than before so I think you can mark it solved. I do have another server with issues and working to see if I can fix. If not I will open a new thread.
