Server 2012 R2 Standard - Issue with update KB4561666

Hi,

Before I give the details of the affected server I had this exact same issue for another server resolved in [SOLVED] - 2012 R2 - Failing to install KB4561666. Wasn't sure if the update given provided for download was tailored based on the logs I provided. Let me know if I can just proceed with that fix again.

I have a 2012 R2 server that is failing to install the 2020-06 monthy security rollup (KB4561666). I believe this to be the cause of issues with IE that is currently unable to be opened on the server.

I have tried sfc, dism and the sfcfix tool. Unfortunately no luck.

Windows update checks for updates fine but I am unable to install this patch. Error in the update UI is 800F0831.

Unfortunately no luck this time around. The KB you provided installed fine but still unable to install 2020-06 monthy security rollup.

You can mark this solved. I managed to find the underlying patch causing the issue and resolve. Thanks for looking anyway, I know you guys are probably super busy.
