Hello Sysnative Forum,

I'm currently having issues with a PC refusing to apply Security Rollups. This is obviously a problem. As I've been unable to find any other source for fixing issues of this kind online, I'm making a post. Truth be told, I tried to understand and fix these issues myself by "reverse engineering" prior solutions, with no success aside from issues solved by this: How to fix Windows Update errors using DISM (DISM.log) or the System Update Readiness Tool / SURT (CheckSUR.log)

Thank you in advance for your help!
If you need further information please let me know!

Best Regards,

Alex Reed

Hi,

Thank you for your Reply!

Yes, I'm still looking to fix this issue. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi, sorry for the radio silence.
I ran the RAM test and it didn't seem to find any errors.
After saving the report, I didn't get a HTML-File, but rather a log-file.
It's quite long, but I've attached it.

Please let me know if you need the HTML-File and I'll see if I can re-run the test.

Please do the following:

Step#1 - Capture Process Monitor Trace
1. Download and run Process Monitor. Leave this running while you perform the next steps.
2. Try updating the system just like you have in the past.
3. Stop Process Monitor as soon as the it fails. You can simply do this by clicking the magnifying glass on the toolbar as shown below.

4. Select the File menu...Save... and save the file to your desktop. This is likely the default location. The name (unless changed) will be LogFile.PML. This is fine.
5. Zip up and provide the link to the LogFile.PML file as well as your CBS.log Examples of services to upload to are Dropbox or OneDrive or SendSpace.
