Dear

I have tried several times the sfcfix : reboot, start again sfcfix It get stuck at 40%

I tried many times, , even once I have put the app on the c drive, then started the command prompt administrator, then run the app: then it succeeded finishing without any errors.

But sfc scannow still says that there are corruptions not solved?

So I try again the sfcfix tool from desktop: it says it need to scan for 15-20 minutes (due to nature of your corruptions).

But same problem (stuck a 40%).

I could continue like this, but not sur if it's helping me..

Hello Haramo,
Please follow these instructions:

DISM /RestoreHealth Scan
  1. Right-click on the Start
    w8start.png
button and select Command Prompt (Admin)
  2. When command prompt opens, Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Right-click > Paste) the following command into it, then press Enter
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
  3. When DISM finishes scanning your component store, zip up and attach the following logs to your next post:
    C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\DISM.log

I tried a while ago to start sfcfix again from desktop (right click, administrator): it freezes at the folowing text:

....
Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
image version: 6.3.9600.17031

Then I run chkdsk , system rebooted and did a chkdsk.

Now i started again sfcfix, it just now went to 20%

If after 20 min same hang (40%) happens, I will folow your steps.

What is very long time? it's buzzy now for more then 2 hours.

It stuck at : Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
Version: 6.3.9600.17031
image version: 6.3.9600.17031

- (and a cursor that blinks)

I left it all night, and day, and stil image version: 6.3.9600.17031 and a cursor that blinks....

What is next? Do I still have to waith?

That is too long.

Zip up and attach the following logs:
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\DISM.log

at first, cbs log was very smal (made a copy of it on desktop), now I copied again the cbs log from the logs folder on C driver to desktop, it is 600mb big!, maybe something did happen when the tool was running?

see link (wetransfer) for the 600 version (newest version)
WeTransfer

See old copy of cbs log attached

see dism log attached

Clean Boot

Next, configure Windows to perform a Clean Boot.

  • Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search. Or, if you are using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then click Search.
  • Type msconfig in the search box, and then tap or click msconfig.

sfc scannow completed, it says corruptions could not be fixed (see text below). does this sentence mean something: Note that logging is currently not
supported in offline servicing scenarios. ???

Microsoft Windows [Version 6.3.9600]
(c) 2013 Microsoft Corporation. Alle rechten voorbehouden.

C:\WINDOWS\system32>sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some
of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For
example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not
supported in offline servicing scenarios.
