I think everybody loved her. I confess I'm a Golden Girls fan. I watched it with my Grandfather when I was a kid. Rest in peace Betty, you've earned it. Thank you, for being a friend!

I saw this news last night and was saddened by it for sure. I have always liked her. Frankly, I know of no one who didn't. Netflix has a nice documentary on her. I knew she was a pioneer in many ways, I just didn't know how much. She used to do a 5-hour "live" show every day in the early days of TV. And by "do" I mean act, sing, dance, produce, direct, interview - you name it. And she loved it.

She was the last of "The Golden Age of Television," without doubt.

RIP, Betty. Your work brought joy to so many and your work on animal welfare drew needed attention there, too.
