I have done the following (after a fresh boot) : (Windows 10 Pro Ver.10.0.17134 Build 17134 )

ran troubleshoot (hardware and devices)
downloaded & installed the mouse driver (microsoft)
ran chkdsk c:
ran sfc /scannow

ran SFCFix.exe [AutoAnalysis::

NOTE : SFCFix.exe doesn't return to directory in cmd window, just a blinking cursoron the left side.

ran FRST64.exe
ran FSS.exe

I also ran ShellExView (where you mark 'disabled items', 'non-microsoft extentions', & 'suspicious extensions', then disable them. Mouse right-click still didn't work.

Re: Right Click Button Not Working (after windows update) & Unfixable Corrupt Files

Hello!

The detected corruptions are benign and are remnants of Avast.

Which updates are currently listed to be installed?

Re: Right Click Button Not Working (after windows update) & Unfixable Corrupt Files

I uninstalled Avast using Revo Uninstaller. I guess it didn't pick up those corrupt files, or Avast loaded them afterwards.

Avast seems to work great, but I don't like how they download things without you knowledge and of course the continual pop-ups of 'buy this ... to keep your computer safe'.

So I should just ignore those corrupt files & they would have no impact on the computer's start up speed or working speed ?

Thanks,
Rod
