My Laptop is not updating, and ever so often prompts me to restart and install important updates. I usually postpone them however it arrives at a point where it forces a restart. Upon restarting no updates have been installed and the prompt comes back up approx 20 mins or so, upon restart.

Thus far, I have run windows update troubleshooter, which said"problems installing updates" were fixed. However things remained the same

Also tried sfc /scannow -no problems found

Stopped and restarted update service using net stop wuauserv/net start wuauserv
