[SOLVED] Restart your computer to finish installing important updates

Hi There, My name is Shiva and I am new to this forum. I wanted some help on the above subject.

Problem:
Windows update constantly prompts me to “Restart your computer to finish installing important updates”. After restart I can boot successfully, but after a few minutes the “Restart your computer…” dialog again appears.

I am using windows 7 64 bit

I have gone through the some of the other posts and seems like everyone's issue has got unique solution. However, I followed the below instructions as mentioned in the forum :

1. Click your start button and type cmd in the search box.
2. Right-click on cmd that comes up in the search results and select Run as administrator. Answer Yes to the UAC prompt if it appears.
3. Copy/Paste the following into the command-prompt window and hit enter.
reg query HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate /s >1.txt && notepad 1.txt

Hi Aura, This is Shiva again! Trust everything is fine with you. I have another problem also in my PC, I would be grateful if you could help me on this one also. When I put my PC in SLEEP mode, it restarts itself after a while and becomes on!!??

Do you have any clue on this issue?
