I am not able to remove Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007. Also I installed Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant for Office 365 thinking it would help and it didn't. So I am trying to uninstall both of them.
The removal tool you mention is the "Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant for Office 365" software that I am trying to remove along with MOE2007. I tried uninstaling via control panel. Nothing works.
I would recommend trying with Revo uninstaller first, which should completely remove Office 2007 from your system for you.
There is some manual removal steps which can be undertaken too, but I would only recommend those as a last resort, and please ensure that you create a backup of your system beforehand - Manually uninstall Office
So I used Revo uninsatller and it seemed to work. I don't see it under Programs and Features. I did however use Belarc advisor to scan my computer and found that my system is missing a security update namely EOL-MICROSOFT~OFFICE07. So even though Revo did a good job uninstalling MOE 2007 there must still be something left behind that registers as MOE2007. As you know I want uninstall MOE2007 since it is no longer being supported.
I understand that Belarc is unreliable because we've had this conversation before. What I am trying to say is that it's strange that Belarc detected MOE2007 after I uninstalled it. Perhaps it's not a big deal but it's just strange.
