reinstall windows defender not working on several 2016 Servers

Hi,
like a lot of other guys here in this forum I have the problem that I am not able to reinstall the windows defender with dism on my Windows Servers 2016. I had a VMware template in which I removed the feature because we used another AV from Sophos. Now we would like to use defender and I have the problem of installing it back on several servers. I did read a lot of threads were you guys were able to resolve this problem by deleting the causing KB from the registry. Is there a "How to" how to create this "fix list" so I don't have to bother you guys for every of my servers with the problem? I did all of the pre steps with "sfc", "dism/ restore health" or "wusa /uninstall KBxxx" commands. Most of the time the KB's are not able to be downloaded from Microsoft to reinstall because they are too old and the KB's are not listed with "wmic qfe list"

I (and I think a lot of other future members) would apprichiate if you could make a short "How to". If not so my Post count will raise a lot in the next time

Unfortunately, there is no standard guide for this problem or creating a Fixlist, so Please provide the CBS logs.

• Open Windows Explorer and browse to the C:\Windows\Logs folder.
• Right-click on the CBS folder and choose Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.
• Now the message will appear, "Windows cannot create the Compressed (zipped) Folder here. Do you want it to be placed on the desktop instead?"
• Click on the Yes button here.

• Attach the file CBS.zip to your next reply.
