I did not attach the initial SFCScannow log because I must have deleted it. :oops:

I failed to attach the SFCFix log.

I also failed to specify that my computer software is Windows 7 Professional SP1.

I will have to be more specific in my problem description when I come back to the forums.

I have one question. Looking through the CBS log I noticed entries reading "failed to internally open package". Does the log show past problems such as one method of "opening a package" and then later in the log indicate the problems has been resolved ?

My question is not a rebuttal, just curiosity.
