Re-Formatting a acer travelmate laptop

I tried Re-Formatting my acer travelmate 5740g laptop and when i pressed alt F10 on start up it came up with this screen


And when i tried from acer eRecovery management it wouldn't highlight the option on start up

Do you have a System Repair disc, so you can boot a Command Prompt, and then form a format from there?

Why do you need to format the hard drive anyway?

Got it sorted out thanks. Reformat my computer ever couple of years just to clean all the **** of it
