Hello Sysnative,
I have run into problems with system files being nonrepairable with sfc /scannow. I tried manually running dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth command and it returned "The source files could not be downloaded" despite ensuring all Windows updates were current, and /scanhealth previously returning "The component store is repairable". Then I re-ran sfc /scannow which returned "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them". I later ran chkdsk /r to verify the drive was good, and got no errors.
Also previous to this I had run memtest64 because I'd had unexpected shutdowns and suspected a memory problem, but after re-seating my RAM sticks, the test found no problems. These events were the beginning of my system file problems, I think.
After all this, I discovered SFCFix and ran it. It did find corruptions, and that's where I am now. Your help would be greatly appreciated. I am attaching SFCFix.txt and CBS.log.
Sincerely,
dunringill
