Hi guys,
I've been using (for the past few months) CCleaner to remove my temp files from browsers and other applications. I also use its reg cleaner function, usually after I uninstall a number of programs (such as games) to remove the stuff they leave behind.
However, after using it to delete some of the stuff it finds in the registry, I go into regedit and manually search for the applications name and tend to find one or more entries left behind.
Now for my question, is clearing the registry using third party software such as CCleaner recommended?
Does it improve performance and/or keep the PC healthy?
Am I good to keep using CCleaner or would you suggest a different program that might be more efficient?
Thanks
Marc
