problems with Windows Update

Sorry for the delay, it's very busy for us at the moment.

You listed 9C47 as one of the errors you're experiencing - what update is this failing with? Can you confirm what versions of IE you have installed please? Also, I would like to know whether you have the Bing bar installed :)

There's a lot of code errors in the background of the CBS.log (and the latest Persist file) there. This looks like registry corruption to me?
 
I haven't actually looked at any of the logs yet, but the 0x800736B3 meant there was a good chance of registry corruption. I was hoping that the IE error would be independent of this, but it can't hurt running the SURT as well :)
