Looks like it didn't work. Sadly we cannot use a lower version of msvcrt.dll, since you're using the lowest one possible (from Windows 7 RTM).
As for iSPY, I don't know what issue you have with msvcrt.dll, but to me it looks like you're already on Windows 10, while bobby is trying to upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7 but the msvcrt.dll file makes the Modern Host Setup application crash during the upgrade.
Hi I understand, but now I was facing the same issue as he, modern host setup crashed when it was checking stuff after it updated drivers etc.. I was trying to update from 10240 to leaked 10586 version and that installer stopped responding

DISM online, sfc scannow are both clean.. I also removed all visualC redist and reinstalled but the problem persists.. Very bizarre. :huh:
