Hi,

Is my first Post, my native language isn't English, my apologies if I do some errors.

My computer is running Windows 8.1 for a while, and was running without troubles until 3 days ago.
I cannot install the most programs, I have troubles with Google Chrome, Dropbox doesn't upload or download any more.
I try a clean install and for that I need to run the windows copy located on Folder "ESD" but that gives the information;

"The File "Autorun.dll" could not be loaded or is corrupt. Setup cannot continue. Error code is [0xE1]".

This windows copy it was bought online and downloaded to the computer I don't have another copy.

I run SFCFix and I get the a report with 11 corrupted files. in meantime I try run many virus rescue but I was not able to find a solution to fix that.

In this moment I cannot restore or do a clean installation of my windows, can you please advice, what I should do to proceed?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards

Please provide a listing of all the programs which you are experiencing problems with and which anti-virus or security programs you have used, like below:

Programs:

  • Google Chrome
  • Dropbox
  • ...
  • etc.

Security Programs:

  • MSE
  • Malwarebytes
  • ...

Please also follow these instructions, https://www.sysnative.com/forums/bs...ctions-windows-8-1-8-7-and-windows-vista.html, even though your not experiencing BSODs they will provide us with some useful troubleshooting information.

It would be useful if you could provide the version number of the programs.

SFCFix Log:

Code:
AutoAnalysis::
SUMMARY: Some corruptions could not be fixed automatically. Seek advice from helper or sysnative.com.
   CBS & SFC total detected corruption count: 11
   CBS & SFC total unimportant corruption count: 0
   CBS & SFC total fixed corruption count: 0
   SURT total detected corruption count: 0
   SURT total unimportant corruption count: 0
   SURT total fixed corruption count: 0
AutoAnalysis:: directive completed successfully.

Please open a elevated command prompt, and then enter the following command:

Code:
sfc /scannow

It should produce a log, which you will need to place into a compressed (zipped) folder and then upload in your next post.
