[SOLVED] Problem installing Windows 7 SP1 Update - Error 800B0100

Just let me try installinga couple of other updates which have been waiting in the queue behinf the SP1 for ages.

If the updates fail, upload the C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log and C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log files for me please.

2 Additional Update Problems

OK, this is what I achieved with the outstanding updates:

a) the first 2 updates (KB type) installed OK
b) 2 others, related to hardware FAILED

Personally, I would never install drivers via Windows Update. These updates will more often break your drivers more than anything else. If you need to update a device's driver, simply download them from that device manufacturer's website. I have 4-5 drivers updates sitting around in my Windows Update and I'll never install them. The choice is yours. Drivers updates via Windows Updates aren't required, nor important at all.

I never even knew these were device drivers listed, I assumed they were Windows related updates associated with the drivers !

They are driver updates, simple as that
