Problem: Cannot repair member file [l:36{18}]"Amd64\CNBJ2530.DPB" of prncacla.inf,

Hi,

Since a few days my computer has become very slow. I did a sfc /scannow scan and i attached the log file:

I hope you can help me.

Hello and welcome to the forum :)

Before we get started lets see if we can repair this file automatically using SFCFIx.

Download and Run SFCFix

Please download and run SFCFix from >Here<

It will take about 15 minutes to process. Once the scan has completed a notepad file will launch with the results. Please copy and paste the entire contents of the results and post them back into this thread. Please put [CODE][/CODE] tags around the log to break up the text.

I ran that file a 5 hours ago and it is still stuck at 40%. This is probably not good?

This is most likely a bug with DISM and not SFCFix itself.


DISM Scan

  1. Right click on the
    aa922834-ed43-40f1-8830-d5507badb56c_39.jpg
    button
  2. Click on Command prompt (Admin) => Press Yes on the prompt
  3. Inside the Command Prompt windows copy and paste the following command DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
  4. Please wait for this to Finish before continuing with rest of the steps.
Convert CBS.log to CBS.txt
  1. Right click on the
    aa922834-ed43-40f1-8830-d5507badb56c_39.jpg
    button
  2. Click on Run => Inside the run box copy and paste the following command:
    Code: 
    cmd /c copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
  3. Press Enter
  4. Once this has completed please go to your Desktop and you will find CBS.txt => Please upload CBS.txt to this thread

I executed the DISM command (as admin). I dont think it works, because i am looking at the following screen for 4-5 hours already:

DISM has stalled, most likely from a corruption. Can you please post the CBS log and we can see where this is hanging.

Just missed the DISM results in the CBS log. The CBS log contains events from a fer other Windows Features that calls on CBS.

I will need to have a look at the older logs:

Export CBS folder

  1. Right click on the

  2. Click on File Explorer
  3. Double-click on the C: drive, under the Hard Disk Drives category, and then scroll down to, and double click on the Windows folder.
  4. Find and double click on the Logs folder.
  5. Right-click on the CBS folder, and select Copy.
  6. Go back to your Desktop, right-click on it, and select Paste. You should now see a copy of the CBS folder appear on your Desktop called CBS.
  7. Right-click on this new folder, and navigate through Send to, and select Compressed (zipped) folder.
  8. A new file, also called CBS (CBS.zip), but this time with a different icon, will be created.
  9. Attach this to your next post please.

SFCFix Script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
  2. Download SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
  5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please - put [CODE][/CODE] tags around the log to break up the text.

Looks good, the file is not showing as corrupt anymore :)

My laptop hangs when i am trying to open the windows update window.

We will see if there are any obvious errors in the event log:

Event Log Viewer

  1. Please download VEW.exe from Here and save it to your desktop.
  2. Go to your desktop and right click on VEW.exe and choose Run as Administrator
  3. Once open set the following settings
    • 'Select log to query'
      1. Tick Application
      2. Tick System
    • 'Select Type to list'
      1. Tick Critical
      2. Tick Error
      3. Tick Information
      4. Tick Warning
    • 'Number or date events'
      1. Tick Number of Events and set it to 20
  4. Click on Run
  5. Once completed a notepad file will open. Please copy and paste the contents of VEW.txt back into this thread.

Hi! I have the same problem. Where I can download the SFCFix.zip for the version 6.3.9600.17415 of CNBJ2530.DPB?

My sfcdetails.txt show me this error:
