I have tried to upgrade from W7 Home premium 64 to the new W10, 3 times only to get files corrupted.

The power shuts off during the 1st reboot every time , The error code I get before the system restore is: 0xC1900101-Ox2000C
then it goes to system to restore W7.

I tried loading W10 from my dvd ISO and files, any ideas?

I did do the system program disable etc as the Windows site suggested.

This is a Toshiba satellite laptop

I had to come to this site and get the SFC to fix the corrupt files

Thanks for any help

I have found a couple references of other with this same problem (and same error) when upgrading to Windows 8.1. In this Toshiba forum thread a couple people were able to get past this by shutting down the computer when prompted to reboot and let the computer cool down for awhile (even over night in one case). I would make sure the notebook is clean of dust as much as possible and on a hard flat surface to allow air to circulate underneath. Perhaps even blast a desk fan across it.

If you have files SFC cannot fix, follow the instructions here to have an analysts check your system.

Thank you, I will research it more as well, I just have it all back to suff now, will let you know, Thanks again
