Good morning everyone

I am new in this forum and I really hope someone can help me.
I am trying to find out why my wife's laptop got extremely slow.....it takes forever to start up having only 1 thing enabled, the internet is even worse.
following some advice i run SFCFix.txt but it was not able to fix the problem.

Can someone be so kind to take a look at the CBS files?

Thank you so much in advance for your time and help

Looks like DISM doesn't detect any corruption.

Let's check your disk's SMART stats.

GSmartControl
Follow the instructions below to test your hard drive health with GSmartControl:

  • Download GSmartControl and save it on your Desktop;
  • Extract the content of the GSmartControl .zip archive and execute gsmartcontrol.exe; To extract you can right-click your mouse on the GSmartControl.zip file and select Extract.
  • Identify your drive in the list, and double-click on it to bring up it's window (usually you'll find your drive by it's size or it's brand name);
  • Go in the Perform Tests tab, then select Extended Self-test in the Test type drop-down list and click on Execute (this test can take a few hours to complete);
  • Once the test is over, the results will be displayed at the bottom of the window. Please copy and paste these results in your next reply;
  • Also, go in the Attributes tab and if you have any entries highlighted in red or pink, copy and paste their name in your next reply (or take a screenshot of the GSmartControl window and attach it in your next reply);

Very good, that looks fine.

Let's try configuring Windows for a clean boot.

Clean Boot

  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search. Or, if you are using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then click Search.
  2. Type msconfig in the search box, and then tap or click msconfig.

Thank you so much for your time, i've done everything you suggested but the laptop is so slow that i have to use mine to reply to you.

I'd like to check the system specifications of the laptop.

Please download, extract, then run Speccy portable here: Speccy - Portable

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.
In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.
Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot.

Copy the URL to the clipboard, then paste it into your reply.

not that i know.....
at the beginning was working very well and suddenly it started to get slower and slower.

If you have your installation source and license / subscription information available, please try uninstalling for testing purposes and let me know if there is any difference in performance.
