I have been receiving error 0x80073712 for about 6 months now and I really need to get it fixed without having to reinstall Windows. I see you have had great success helping others and I would ask the same. I have tried all the usual suggestions based on that error search without success: DISM commands, SFC commands, restarting BITS, renaming the SoftwareDownload folder, etc etc etc.... I'm usually pretty good at fixing these issues but this one has me stumped.
I'm running Windows 10 Pro v1909 Build 18363.476
All AV products have been uninstalled.
WINDOWS UPDATE ERROR:
There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later.

Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x80073712)
I have run:
PS C:\Users\JRogers> Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
Version: 10.0.18362.1
Image Version: 10.0.18363.476
