Peek a tab not working on chrome

I was working with a tab manager called peek a tab on chrome but it no longer works when I click it. I am using chrome Version 102.0.5005.115 on windows 10.
 
It may be something in the latest update with Chrome.

For instance, I use gmails SMTP for my Point of Sale system sending of emails to my customers. Google turned off the ability to allow insecure apps and stopped outgoing emails from sending. I ended up going with a 3rd party SMTP service.

I just installed it on mine and it doesn't work here either. My Chrome version 102.0.5005.115
 
So I think chrome has perhaps forced the extension to be obsolete because I've noticed that chrome has added a built in tab manager. I have also tried installing other tab managers and they don't seem to either.
