Brief description problem : pc crashes randomly. Sometimes its good for a while, then multiple crashes in quick succesion. Might be related to low memory on c drive, only 28GB left.
Memory dump from previous forum thread : Gofile - Free file sharing and storage platform
I tried, HiJackthis, Farbar Recovery Scan Tool Link , SFCFix.exe, windows System File Checker

System manufacturer : self-build pc, components : Asrock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 Performance Results - UserBenchmark

Desktop Windows 10 64-bit

Windows was first and only installed OS (different version though, started with windows 7 I think)

PC was clean I installed OS myself

age of system = +-8 years

age of OS installation = +-8 years

Have I reinstalled OS : yes, did a full reinstall resetting my pc about 4 years ago; upgrading to windows 10

components are in the userbenchmark link

I dont know what driver verifier is

only windows built in antivirus

Are you using proxy, vpn, ipfilters or similar software? : recently installed vpn on browser, but that was after the issue
Are you using Disk Image tools? (like daemon tools, alcohol 52% or 120%, virtual CloneDrive, roxio software) I have used daemon tools in the past but not after the reset of my pc

not overclocking

That certainly is a factor and I would strongly suggest that you look at increasing the amount of available space. Unfortunately, there isn't much which can be said about the bugcheck you've had other than it was caused an illegal stack pointer. Let's run Driver Verifier to ensure that there is no underlying driver issues.

Please follow these instructions to enable DV - Driver Verifier - BSOD related - Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7 + Vista

Please disable Driver Verifier if you haven't done so already, by opening an elevated command prompt and entering the following command:

Code:
verifier /reset

Rich (BB code):
6: kd> du ffff8f8c33688590
ffff8f8c`33688590 "cfosspeed6.sys"

It seems that cFosSpeed is causing problems, please remove the program or any associated software.

Today is March 25, 2022.

The logs displayed multiple fatal WHEA hardware errors since January 2022.

The latest was on March 23, 2022.

The logs displayed bugchecks: 7F, A, 4E, 139, 124

Bugchecks 7F and 124 are often associated with mismatched or malfunctioning hardware.

If there was no overclocking or temperature problems then consider testing for malfunctioning hardware.

In the BSOD instructions there are tests for RAM and Hard Drive's.
Is there other hardware that can be tested / should be tested?

There isn't any tests for hardware in the posting instructions, what are you referring to?

I would refrain from any hardware testing for now and focus on the immediate problem which is that problematic driver. Have you removed the associated software? I should add, on very rare occasions, I have seen Stop 0x124's be caused by drivers. Most of the bugchecks which zbook mentioned can equally be caused by software.

I was referring to this. The RAM and the HDD tests.
Ok I now notice it was a different person that suggested to test hardware.
I removed the CfoSpeed software and so far I had no crashes and I also had the impression my computer is working faster than usual O.O

I'll refrain from testing hardward for now, unless I crash again.
Thanks for the assistance! :)

It seems that cFosSpeed is causing problems, please remove the program or any associated software.
This is the info from the FRST logs posted on HijackThis. In this case a part of ASRock's XFast LAN tool.

Code:
XFast LAN v10.10 (HKLM\...\XFast LAN) (Version: 10.10 - cFos Software GmbH, Bonn)
R2 cFosSpeedS; C:\Program Files\ASRock\XFast LAN\spd.exe [726952 2015-09-09] (cFos Software GmbH -> cFos Software GmbH)
R1 cFosSpeed; C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\cfosspeed6.sys [2004904 2015-09-09] (cFos Software GmbH -> cFos Software GmbH)

It's often bundled with ASUS, AsRock, Gigabyte and MSI gaming motherboards.

Most decent routers already perform this function.

Thanks @xrobwx71 and @Maxstar, I'm going to update the DRT to mention that's it part of multiple motherboard utilities rather than just ASUS.

Thank you, hopefully you won't experience any more problems.

Thats a negative sir, had multiple crashes again last evening. I am going to enable driver verifier again and I'll post a new minidump.
(while writing this message I had another BSOD. This time it gave the stop code PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA). (its stuck at 0%) (writing this on my laptop)

I can think of some options.

I have an external hard drive, maybe thats causing issues.
I installed new ram modules somewhere the end of 2021

Ive had multiple freezes and crashes, but never a BSOD. No minidumps are being created :/

Maybe its a mmeory issue? I only have about 27,28 gb left on my hard drive.

I plan to upgrade my pc asap, new hard drive, reset it, and upgrade my cpu. That will hopefully solve the problem.
As soon as I get a minidump I'll post it

That is very borderline, I believe the general recommendation is around 30GB free space at least.

Okay, if you're planning to upgrade anyway, then we can wait. Although, please upload any new crash dump(s) as soon as they appear.
