i only put it up for several hours to play a game and then i put it back down, but i want to try to push higher, i know that processor can push much higher, just needs good numbers and proper cooling, so far cooling isnt a problem so i just need to find those good numbers

The best experience I've had over the years with OC'ing is moving it up in the smallest increments allowed by the BIOS and with each bump, test as thoroughly as you can. When you get too high, it'll let you know with a BSOD. (In my experience which includes gaming since 1996)

Disclaimer:
As with any tweaks, to any computer, especially OC'ing, you are responsible for any damage done. Unless the manufacturer encourages OC'ing, and explicitly says so in their warranty docs, it can void your warranty.

The CPU itself not dies instantly, To kill a CPU takes some time, It will produce more heat when we push the VCore plus the Multiplier (CPU Ratio). Another thing is depends on OC environment if it's Liquid Cooling or another extreme aspect condition LN2 term 'Liquid Nitrogen'.
