Office 2007 Update failed with 0x80070663

Hi,

I'm getting a few Office updates that fail with the specific error code. All other windows updates install without a problem. Also there is no CBS corruption found by SURT.View attachment WindowsUpdate.zip

Any clue as to why it happens? Issues with the basic installation of office maybe...

If you still need assistance, can you give the KB numbers of the updates that are failing?

Hi,

They are present in the WU.log: Security Update for Microsoft Office 2007 suites (KB3085546) and Security Update for Microsoft Office 2007 suites (KB2825645)

Please manually download KB3085546 from the link below and save to your desktop.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48900

Go ahead and install from the downloaded file.

If it fails, please provide the following log by copying it to your desktop and then zipping/attaching.
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log.
