Nvidia Error "Configuration registry database is corrupted" when trying to Open Nvidia Control Panel (thread 2)

Hello I am trying to change some configurations via nvidia control panel because I am getting input lag while I am playing the game FC 24 on Steam. I have updated latest drivers, still doesn't work. Can anyone please help me? I don't wish to reformat to solve this issue

I have moved this thread since this is not an issue with Windows Update or corrupted HIVE files as it seems.

So I would suggest to remove any existing drivers first using DDU: Utilizing DDU Display Driver Uninstaller Properly
