Thank you, now I can sleep at night knowing preteen programming is a normal process everyone goes through and I'm not "weird" because of it.
I noticed your a Leary fan, I assume you're "in the loop" - do you know what he might of meant by that quote in your signature?
A multitude of things, that's the greatness of it's meaning. And ironically, it's interpretation is part of it's meaning in my opinion. I would say though that life in itself is based on strategies. We have to co-exist with many other people, doing the same things. We work, eat, sleep. Yet there's this diversity in the way money flow seems to reach certain hands. Opportunities, achievements, etc... All part of a result of the ideological idea that it's really based on how we can plan things out to be. Understanding what goes on in our surroundings about the world itself; politics, economics, environmental disasters and innovations for example... Corruption... Some people have no idea.
I interpret it in this way though. Be intelligent enough to figure things out yourself. Don't believe media and all that, see what makes sense. We're all in a competition in this world, striving for success over those that will fail possibly as a result of someone else's success, or even failure's in some cases. But in the end we're all competing for the better life so to speak. To have happiness, money, love, and just in general overall well being. You can't get ahead of the game without knowing what you're doing; being "smart."
I'm having a hard time explaining this, but I know what I want to say, it's just lost in translation to words. You may even misinterpret what i'm trying to say here, but in my opinion it's a generalization. It's meaning is there for interpretation, thus it has no definitive meaning :)
