Power cycle everything: computer and router - then try again.

You also need to realize that it is very bad manners to bump a topic that's been up for less than one hour. Online forums are not staffed with paid staff, but volunteers who will respond as their own time and inclination allows. Response times can sometimes be a few minutes, and others they can be several days. It depends on who's online, reading, and able to assist.

I was posting the same thing briteguy. Anyone who expects almost instantaneous support, should take the problem to a local tech person and not rely on FREE, volunteer forums.

usb adapter 801.11n[/quote] I think you mean 802.11n
pdf download of instructions here

I hope you ran the CD and used the setup wizard. Is the dongle in a USB 2 port?

Is this the device? Amazon.com: Realtek RTL8188EU Wireless LAN 802.11n USB 2.0 Network Adapter 150Mbps: Computers & Accessories
I prefer using a part number to search for help rather than a generic 802.11n label.
I do see a problem with that device: Supports: Windows XP 32bit, Windows XP 64bit, Windows Vista 32bit, Windows Vista 64bit, Windows 7 32bit, Windows 7 64bit
Note: Windows 10 is not mentioned. That's probably why it works on the old computer but not the new one.

Also please post the brand and exact model of your modem and router (or gateway).
every router or hotspot i use
how many routers do you own?

My router is of EXITEL
That gives me nothing but medicine for cats and dogs.

There is an ISP in India, Excitel. But not a modem or router.

You need some sort of modem. What is the brand of modem?
