I last used the pc in may of last year and just recently fired it back up. Updates were running forever and not doing anything. Started poking around and saw SFC not fixing what it found and DISM not having any luck either. I ran SFCfix, which said there was still a corruption that couldn't be fixed, then ran SFC /scannow and DISM again. I noticed I have 190 updates that need installed, but hesitant to let them run as I don't want it hanging up again. Should I try to let the updates install, or fix the corruption first?
