There might be a slight delay between our posts as there's time zone differences between us, but we'll do our best to get you up and running as soon as possible!

I'll post a note to Go The Power but in the mean time if you could upload your logs to us then that would be great:

Export CBS folder

  1. Click the Start button
    StartButton_16x16.gif
    then click Computer.
  2. Double-click on the C: drive, under the Hard Disk Drives category, and then scroll down to, and double click on the Windows folder.
  3. Find and double click on the Logs folder.
  4. Right-click on the CBS folder, and select Copy.
  5. Go back to your Desktop, right-click on it, and select Paste. You should now see a copy of the CBS folder appear on your Desktop called CBS.
  6. Right-click on this new folder, and navigate through Send to, and select Compressed (zipped) folder.
  7. A new file, also called CBS (CBS.zip), but this time with a different icon, will be created.
  8. Attach this to your next post please. If it is too big, please use an alternative uploading method then send me the link (Dropbox, SkyDrive, SendSpace etc.).

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
  2. Download SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
  5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please - put [CODE][/CODE] tags around the log to break up the text.

SFC /SCANNOW

  1. Click on the
    Win7Orb_zps4dae3b32.jpg
    button. Inside the search box type in CMD
  2. Right click on CMD => Choose Run as Administrator
  3. Inside the Command Prompt windows copy and paste the following command SFC /SCANNOW

Convert CBS.log to CBS.txt

  1. Click on the

    button => Inside the search box copy and paste the following command:

No sound problem, everything works fine i guess, a few apps wont open due to some missing dll error i think i should reinstall them, and once again thank you, thank you, thank you.

(sorry for my English)
No error message in windows but the story is like this : shutdown the computer last night, turned on pc in the morning, windows went to checkdisk mode with a message of corrupt files in the system and its like this ever since.
another thing i wanted to tell you was this, its about a year and half that every time i turn on my pc, and the windows loads, in the first few minutes of my usage, pc freezes completely, i have to restart it from my case and after that every thing is fine, this happens everyday.

  1. Click on the Start
    Start%20Orb.jpg
    button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
  3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each

    chkdsk /f

  4. Reboot
  5. Download ListChkdskResult.exe (by SleepyDude) from Here
  6. Double click on it to run it. It will take a few seconds to scan, then it will open a Notepad window with the log. Copy and paste the contents of this into your next post please!
