[SOLVED] No install - KB4534310, KB3020387, KB890830, ERROR 0x80243004

Here we go again..you solved all previous update errors. An old image was installed on a test machine (W7E-64b activated w/ genuine MS key) and the following updates will not install: KB4534310, KB3020387, KB890830. Error is 0x80243004. Ran sfc /scannow, KB 947821 for update repair, diagnostics and repair with no errors found. My CBS.log shows multiple errors. DISM.log shows no errors, SFCFix.exe runs with no errors.

Afraid to try similar fixes using SFCFIX.txt from SYSNATIVE helpers for similar issue with KB's above and different and/or same error code(s).

Appreciate any help. Sysnative is the best. Really skilled and an enjoyable experience for newbies.

Sorry.....CBS.log shows no errors. SFCFix.txt must have fixed something. DISM.log attched with no errors. maybe you need a regbak.exe and file from:
Users Folder>User>Windows>System32>Config>Components??

[SOLVED]......solution was to use the following context:

A. %userprofile%\appdat\local\iconcache.db

a.go to users>(your acct name)>app data>local>iconcache.db
b, delete iconcache.db
c. reset your pc
d. (4) icons should appear lower R/H corner (battery, speaker, wireless strength, and messages
e. go to Windows Update click on Check for Updates, updates should start and download after several minutes
