Be sure that your BIOS is updated.
" " that audio, video, wifi and Ethernet drivers are updated. You can't rely on Windows Device Manager to do a scan for this. You must look up the name of the driver for each (in Device Manager); look up the driver name in the DRT to get the update site and then check for driver updates. This manual method to update drivers is the only way to do it properly.
DRT - Driver Reference Table
If you have a 3rd party Internet Security Suite like Norton, McAfee, KIS, etc... -- remove it using the appropriate removal tool -
