Hello, I have bought a PCIexpress USB3.0 card and when I have my keyboard or mouse plugged into it and I put windows to sleep, it immediately wakes up. It is only asleep for 1 second and it turns on. All drivers on my computer have the latest version (checked with DriverEasy)

sorry for my english, I'm from Barcelona ;-)

Hi!
Open your Device Manager by hitting the Start button and typing Device, you should see Device Manager, when you do, click it.

Look for Universal USB BUS Controller or in your case, the PCIexpress USB3.0. Right-click the component, choose Properties. You'll see tabs at the top, choose the Power Management tab, uncheck Allow this device to wake the computer.

Close everything that was open and you should be good!

I think I have already found the solution. I have done what you have recommended (@xrobwx71) but for the keyboard and mouse, and now it seems that windows does not come out of sleep. Thanks a lot

I'm sorry, I don't quite understand.

Did you find a solution?

If the instruction is not working for you, simply reverse what you did.

In the Device Manager I uncheck "Allow this device to wake the computer" on mouse and keyboard.
thanks!
